Sound is the late comer to the Internet. The last few years have brought us from primitive Web sounds to ever clearer, brighter sound quality on the Internet. "Streaming" audio technologies are making the future of sound on the Web extremely exciting. You can now listen to radio stations from around the world with CD like audio quality courtesy of the Internet.
Web Studio lets you add sounds to your Web site utilizing Windows Wav files. You can take advantage of the many sound effects that are found in the Sounds Gallery plus you can add your own sounds to your Web pages!
Wav: Wav, or "wave" files, is the standard on Windows. Web Studio supports this format directly. You can add a Wav file to any object on your page, and then decide how you wish the sound to function.
Select the object you wish to apply the sound to.
Go Insert>Sound From File
The Windows Open dialog box will appear.
Double-click on the preferred sound file.
The sound is automatically added to the object. You can control the properties of the sound by right clicking over the object and choosing the Properties option.
(NOTE: There are some limitations in the conversion process and Web Studio may experience problems with some Wav files not included with Web Studio. If when you Preview the Web site or Save it to the Internet, you get an error message citing "conversion" problems or "failure to build table", try a different sound on your Web page.)
